About the position
The Clinical Engagement Value Analysis Specialist serves as the clinical expert and liaison for Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing initiatives across Novant Health facilities and physician offices. This role focuses on leading sourcing initiatives, assisting with trials, evaluations, implementation, communication, and education to ensure optimal patient outcomes through the clinical efficacy of healthcare products and services while maximizing financial value. The specialist is responsible for identifying opportunities for standardization or savings within the health system, utilizing evidence-based data and market trends, and requires strong communication and organizational skills to interact effectively with various levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the clinical lead for sourcing initiatives.
- Assist with trials, evaluations, and implementation of healthcare products.
- Communicate and educate clinical staff on product efficacy and financial value.
- Identify opportunities for standardization or savings within the health system.
- Utilize evidence-based data and market trends to inform decisions.
- Prioritize workload based on multiple concurrent requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; BSN required, graduate preferred.
- Minimum of three years of RN experience required.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state required.
- Strong professional demeanor and independent learner.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, training, and communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interact effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
