About the position

The Clinical Engineering Senior Site Manager at TRIMEDX is responsible for leading clinical engineering initiatives to enhance customer service and operational efficiency. This role involves managing the execution of the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP), overseeing daily operations, fostering positive relationships with customers, developing associates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards during Joint Commission inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee site operations and provide direction to others using knowledge of technology and equipment.
  • Motivate team members through praise, recognition, and rewards.
  • Manage personnel by staffing and scheduling technicians for optimal service delivery.
  • Coach and mentor technicians and site managers, providing feedback on performance.
  • Influence change through recommendations based on technical knowledge.
  • Manage service operations functions, including service contracts and resources.
  • Administer MEMP to meet key performance measures.
  • Identify root causes of technological/process problems and provide solutions.
  • Manage inventory of shop supplies and develop service strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission inspections and prioritize open work orders.
  • Provide timely feedback on projects and requests as assigned.
  • Engage with external customers to define and recommend solutions for issues.
  • Set local strategies to achieve operational goals within established parameters.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating site metrics and implementing corrective actions.
  • Build relationships across a diverse customer base and collaborate with vendors for win-win solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for business entry and manage financial performance.
  • Promote service expansion opportunities and manage multiple accounts or system-level responsibilities.
  • Create an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication among associates.
  • Support the development needs of direct reports and team members for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team performance, set clear goals, and provide timely feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, or a technological field required.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience managing in a clinical engineering environment or direct management experience.
  • Previous leadership experience is essential, with a proven ability to develop others.
  • Technical certification such as A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, or CCE preferred.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including budget, revenue, and cost calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a clinical engineering leadership program is a plus.
