About the position

The Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Miami Health System is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a part-time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track. This role involves active clinical practice, education of medical students and residents, and participation in research activities within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Interpret musculoskeletal imaging studies and perform musculoskeletal procedures.
• Supervise performance of technical personnel.
• Be part of the on-call radiology schedule.
• Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of general radiology and musculoskeletal imaging.
• Provide musculoskeletal imaging consultation as requested.
• Provide emergency patient care as required in the setting of a radiology practice.
• Staff off-site outpatient-imaging sites as requested by division director or Chair.
• Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of musculoskeletal radiology.
• Participate in teaching activities related to general radiology as required in various training programs.
• Participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research activities.
• Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.

Requirements

• Medical Degree
• Completion of Diagnostic Radiology Residency
• Completion of Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship
• American Board of Radiology Certified or Board Eligible
• Florida Medical License or License Eligible
• At least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology
