About the position

The Clinical Hospital Services Manager at DaVita is responsible for overseeing clinical services within specific regions, focusing on quality outcomes and education. This role involves developing and implementing clinical policies, training staff, and ensuring that facilities meet their goals while maintaining high standards of patient care. The position emphasizes a patient-centered approach and fosters a supportive work environment that values community and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and roll out clinical policies and education materials.
  • Implement and monitor plans to meet facility goals.
  • Share best practices that support quality management programs.
  • Assist in preceptor training programs and training teammates, management, and patients.

Requirements

  • A.D.N degree from an accredited school of nursing required; B.S.N preferred; three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Current RN license in state of practice required.
  • Minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) of nephrology experience required.
  • Experience in researching, updating, and maintaining clinical policies and procedures preferred.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to travel.
  • Experience in teaching the adult learner strongly preferred with demonstrated ability to communicate technical/medical information in lay terms as necessary.
  • CNN or CDN, Bonent certification within one year of hire or position change required.
  • Current driver's license in state of residence and insurable driving record required.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in associated field preferred.
  • Experience in teaching the adult learner strongly preferred.
