About the position

The Clinical Information Specialist Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in providing ongoing user education and informatics support across various teams and committees within the subsidiary. This position collaborates with the IT Site Delivery Manager to ensure effective information systems, process design, and data management, while serving as a liaison between clinical staff and the IT department to address clinical IT needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and interprets data to drive clinical adoption and end-user satisfaction.
• Facilitates the analysis of current state, future state and gap analysis.
• Applies change management skills including assessments and analysis for organizational adoption such as strategic assessment, stakeholder analysis, and project risk assessment.
• Assists operational leaders in planning, coordinating, implementing and measuring effective use of electronic medical record (EMR).
• Participates in interdisciplinary and process improvement teams to identify potential future uses of the information systems and improvements in current use.
• Serves as a clinical informatics resource to individuals and teams throughout the subsidiary.

Requirements

• A current R.N. licensure
• Associates degree in nursing or related field
