About the position

The Clinical Inpatient Operations Manager at Blue Sky Neurology is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the neurology program in a designated geographic area. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians and hospital partners, and ensuring efficient operations while supporting division initiatives. The manager will also participate in recruitment and onboarding activities for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee new site, provider, hospital, and health system go-lives.
  • Set up project calls with new facilities and health systems to ensure projects are moving forward.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and site visits at facilities.
  • Provide after-hours availability for troubleshooting issues.
  • Conduct physician and client touchpoints to ensure satisfaction with BSN services.
  • Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with providers and key stakeholders.
  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with internal CarePoint departments such as accounting, finance, IT, recruiting, and credentialing.
  • Oversee reporting, invoicing, and payments to contracted and employed providers.
  • Ensure accuracy of provider scheduling functions within BSN and work with inpatient and tele-health teams for consistent coverage.
  • Act as an internal project manager for the go-live of new initiatives within BSN.
  • Participate in provider recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Identify improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and service to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Certification in project management is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare operations leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen for accurate invoicing and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively with teammates to ensure timely task completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
  • High level of professionalism with clients, both internal and external.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in delivering solutions that address client and customer needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Office Suite.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
