About the position

The Clinical Instructor position at Elon University is a part-time, temporary role focused on guiding pre-licensure nursing students in developing their clinical competence and critical thinking skills. The instructor will work with small groups of students in various clinical settings, ensuring they acquire the necessary nursing skills and knowledge to provide effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and supervise 6-7 nursing students per group.
• Assist students in developing clinical competence and critical thinking skills.
• Provide instruction in a variety of clinical learning environments.
• Support both traditional and accelerated BSN students in their clinical education.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Active state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina is required.
• At least two years of clinical experience is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred or currently enrolled in a graduate nursing program.
