About the position
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist PD is a Licensed Medical Technologist whose primary responsibility is to perform laboratory testing on patients samples. In this capacity, the CLS performs the preanalytical, analytical and post analytical and is responsible for quality control, equipment maintenance and all reporting and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing on patient samples.
- Conduct preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes.
- Ensure quality control and equipment maintenance.
- Handle all reporting and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum six months of Clinical Laboratory experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Science.
- Clinical Lab Scientist- CA (CLS) licensure.
Nice-to-haves
- Two years of Clinical Laboratory experience.
- American Society of Clinical Pathology certification.
