About the position

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Clinical Licensed Psychologist to join their interdisciplinary team, focusing on supporting young children with autism and their families. The role emphasizes continuity of care and involves providing diagnostic services and individualized therapy plans. The psychologist will work closely with families to develop treatment recommendations and participate in a collaborative care model with the Denver Health network.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct approximately 4 diagnostic evaluations per week using standardized assessments for autism and differential diagnosis.
  • Develop and deliver treatment recommendations to families.
  • Provide high-quality and efficient clinical services and reports.
  • Offer individualized treatment recommendations to families.
  • Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary clinical team as needed.
  • Engage in continuity of care for children evaluated who then receive treatment at Soar.
  • Consult and coach with the Head of Psychological Services.
  • Explore additional opportunities such as post-diagnosis processing groups, research projects, community outreach, and supervision of trainees.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Active (or eligible to obtain) Colorado license as a Licensed Psychologist.
  • Full competency in the evaluation of Autism Spectrum Disorder, including the ADOS-2, in children aged 0-5 years.
  • Competency in differential diagnosis in the context of autism evaluations.
  • Understanding of effective treatment methods for autism.
  • Willingness to live in or relocate to the Denver, CO metro area.
  • Ability to pass a background check and qualify to work in the United States.
