About the position

The Northeast Clinical Manager (CM) is responsible for providing clinical support and outreach to rehabilitation, pediatric, and other specialty facilities to secure more patients for the Urology & Critical Care (UCC) business unit. The role involves working closely with nursing leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients during their transition from hospital to home, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support for using intermittent catheters. The ideal candidate is an RN with extensive experience in SCI Rehabilitation Hospitals, and the position requires strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally with nurse managers, clinical educators, staff nurses, OT and PT, case managers, social workers, physicians, and patients.
  • Perform virtual product demonstrations, customer education, and in-service as required or requested.
  • Ensure staff are well trained on BD products and the LINK program.
  • Ensure facilities have necessary supplies and literature to help train patients to use catheters.
  • Assist patients transitioning from hospital to home enrolled in LINK, ensuring a smooth transition and catheter compliance.
  • Engage and support field sales and care support teams within assigned specialty & priority accounts.
  • Work collaboratively within patient care PODs consisting of Territory Managers, Clinical Managers, Care Coordinators, and regional supervisors.
  • Manage and complete life cycle assessments and future clinical pathways.
  • Assist with internal quality improvement efforts.
  • Attend assigned national conferences & exhibitions.
  • Control expenses within territory budgets and manage resources per policy.
  • Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed ADN, RN / BSN (preferred) or BS. CRRN a plus.
  • Experience in urology, adult and pediatric SCI rehabilitation preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to work with internal team members and customers.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the week.
  • Must have teaching experience; leadership experience is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with physicians and nurses.
  • Strong work ethic; must be a self-starter.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Evidence of being a team player.
  • Ability to drive to hospitals and accounts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in surgery and industry is a plus.
