About the position

The Clinical Medical Technician Program at Comanche County Memorial Hospital is a 6-week training course designed to prepare individuals for a career in healthcare. This program combines classroom learning with hands-on clinical experience, allowing participants to gain essential skills and knowledge necessary for a role as a Clinical Medical Technician. Students will be paid during their training and will have the opportunity for employment upon successful completion of the program.

Responsibilities

• Attend classroom sessions at Great Plains Technology Center for 4 weeks.
• Participate in 2 weeks of clinical field experience.
• Learn to manage Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Understand medication administration and reconciliation.
• Gain expertise in clinical procedures such as vital signs and phlebotomy.
