About the position

The Clinical Network Recruiter III at American Specialty Health Incorporated is responsible for recruiting various clinical practitioner types to support the company's practitioner contracting and communications team. This remote position requires effective communication, relationship-building, and the ability to meet recruitment goals while managing a fast-paced environment. The role involves both local and national travel to engage with practitioners and promote the company's services.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with various clinical practitioner types to promote ASH and execute practitioner contracts for key health plan clients.
  • Maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines despite changing priorities.
  • Display effective presentations, handle objections, and build positive relationships.
  • Send practitioner packets and recruitment materials to support contracting efforts.
  • Generate effective electronic correspondence with practitioner offices.
  • Identify outreach opportunities and coordinate with supervisors and corporate office.
  • Travel within state and nationally as required to meet business needs.
  • Determine areas for network development based on assigned campaigns, including underserved rural territories.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers to ensure recruitment goals are met.
  • Assist on special projects, conferences, and employer health fairs as directed.
  • Contact practitioners via telephone and face-to-face meetings for relations, education, and issue resolution.
  • Meet minimum monthly recruitment goals for applications received and field appointments held.
  • Provide mentoring to telephonic recruiters and support new recruiters.
  • Train recruitment staff on skills, including performing debriefs and role play scenarios.
  • Prepare literature research and summaries of data as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred; high school diploma required if equivalent experience is claimed.
  • Minimum four years of combined experience in Sales/related duties, healthcare provider contracting, or two years of Telerecruiter experience at ASH.
  • One year of job-related travel experience preferred.
  • Contract negotiation skills and experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Valid residential state driver's license with a good driving record and availability of an automobile for job use.
  • Acceptable credit to qualify for a company American Express Card.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Organized, results-oriented team player.
