Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing practices.
• Perform nursing processes including assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff in a skills mix environment.
• Participate in on-call rotation based on department needs.
• Serve in the Shift Coordinator role upon completion of orientation, if requested.
• Contribute to a cooperative work environment among a culturally diverse workforce.
• Exhibit professionalism and maximize customer service and safe patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required.
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
• Demonstrates basic competencies in clinical nursing.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and patient care equipment.
