About the position

The Clinical Nurse C-Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role requires skilled discretion and independent judgment to prioritize and coordinate care for patients aged 18 and older with complex medical conditions. The nurse will perform the nursing process, supervise staff, and engage in evidence-based practice to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining nursing excellence standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize skilled discretion and independent judgment to provide and document patient-centered care.
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff based on competency levels.
• Engage in professional governance councils and committees to influence clinical practice.
• Participate in research and integrate findings into practice to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide compassionate bereavement support and foster a caring work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in clinical nursing required.
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Nice-to-haves

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate required within one year of hire.
