About the position

The Clinical Nurse Leader in Women's Health at Rochester Regional Health is responsible for leading and guiding clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency within the practice. This role emphasizes leadership, patient care, and issue resolution, with a focus on achieving organizational goals related to patient and employee satisfaction, financial growth, and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead physicians, practice managers, and clinical leaders in the day-to-day functions of the practice.
• Serve as the clinical resource for LPN, MOA, and Clerical staff.
• Ensure staff is rounding on patients using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you).
• Recognize staff for exemplary performance and coach them privately when necessary.
• Participate in the selection of new staff and ensure the peer interview process is followed.
• Work closely with triad leadership to achieve practice pillar goals related to patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, financial growth, and quality goals.
• Resolve issues or concerns during patient rounding and follow up with lead physician and nurse manager.
• Identify high-risk patients and ensure their plan of care is current.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• AS in Nursing (Required).
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
• RN - Registered Nurse license from New York State Education Department (NYSED).
