About the position

The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) at Healogics is responsible for overseeing the clinical activities of the Wound Care Center, ensuring optimal patient care and satisfaction. This role involves collaboration with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet program objectives, improve patient outcomes, and manage clinical staff effectively. The CNM plays a crucial role in case management, staff development, and compliance with healthcare regulations, while also engaging in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical activities of the Wound Care Center.
  • Perform patient care assessments and develop care plans.
  • Provide clinical oversight to nursing and support staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and hospital personnel regarding patient needs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in compliance with regulations.
  • Engage in staff development and provide training and orientation.
  • Recognize staff contributions through positive reinforcement.
  • Assist in budgetary and financial coordination with the Program Director.
  • Coordinate vein clinic services if applicable.
  • Achieve quality indicators for the Wound Care Center.
  • May function as a Documentation Assistant or hyperbaric safety director as needed.
  • Perform patient care based on staffing needs.

Requirements

  • Current RN license required.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum; BSN preferred.
  • One year of RN experience required; two or more years preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Wound care certification preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service and follow-up skills.
  • Leadership and team-building skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of hospital databases and web-based applications.
