About the position

The Clinical Nurse position at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) focuses on providing compassionate, evidence-based nursing care within the Neurology Oncology Office Practice. The role involves working collaboratively within a Nurse-Physician/APP based Ambulatory Care Practice Model, supporting a caseload of Neurology Medical Oncology patients, and ensuring continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to staff members and assist with the management of a caseload of Neurology Medical Oncology patients.
• Perform triage for patients face to face and via telephone.
• Conduct patient assessments and offer patient and family education and symptom management.
• Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey State RN license.
• 1.5 years of related medical/surgical experience required.
• 2 years of Medical oncology experience highly preferred.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
