• Provides primary nursing care to clinic patients, including biologic injection education and triaging patient requests.
• Independently assesses laboratory reports for abnormalities and communicates findings to medical providers.
• Schedules nursing appointments for education on disease processes and medication management.
• Monitors and collaborates with organizations and payers to maintain continuity of care, including completing necessary forms.
• Attends regularly scheduled meetings and educational conferences related to rheumatology.
• Manages a fast-paced clinical environment and negotiates frequent interruptions in planned work.
• Interfaces regularly with patients and a multidisciplinary care team, providing phone triage during clinic hours.

Requirements

• Registered nurse, licensed in the State of Maryland or state where practicing.
• Completion of the JHU credentialing process, including verification of CPR certification, prior to start date.
• Must maintain current licensure and certification during duration of employment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related discipline.
• Experience in the Johns Hopkins system.
• Experience with EPIC.
