Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Clinical Nutrition Manager II to train, mentor, and supervise a team of inpatient and outpatient dietitians.
- Provide day-to-day management of the clinical nutrition program.
- Support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.
- Provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and assist in food service management as needed.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian with acute care experience.
- Proven supervisory or management experience.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Experience with regulatory accreditation and establishing and maintaining standards of care.
- Strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care.
- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND.
