About the position

The Clinical Nutrition Manager I position at Sodexo involves overseeing the clinical nutrition program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The role focuses on managing a team of dietitians, providing training and education, and ensuring high standards of patient care. The successful candidate will collaborate with other managers to enhance performance and quality management within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nutrition Manager II to train, mentor, and supervise a team of inpatient and outpatient dietitians.
  • Provide day-to-day management of the clinical nutrition program.
  • Support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.
  • Provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and assist in food service management as needed.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian with acute care experience.
  • Proven supervisory or management experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with regulatory accreditation and establishing and maintaining standards of care.
  • Strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care.
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND.

Nice-to-haves
