About the position

The Clinical Office Manager at BMG Family Physicians Group Foundation is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy family practice. This role involves managing human and financial resources to ensure quality patient outcomes while adhering to financial goals. The Office Manager will implement and enforce office policies and procedures, analyze operations for efficiency, and maintain compliance with healthcare guidelines. This position offers opportunities for professional growth within a supportive hospital system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations during clinical hours
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce office policies and procedures
  • Analyze daily office operations and resource utilization
  • Investigate workflow and operational issues to make recommendations
  • Interact with Managers, Directors, CEO, and Medical Director to meet company objectives
  • Stay updated with healthcare guidelines such as HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and employee morale
  • Attend necessary meetings and provide in-service training

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of supervisory/management experience in a healthcare facility
  • Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
  • Experience in managed care and quality assurance
  • Ability to manage projects independently
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Ability to work with diverse backgrounds
  • Experience with budgeting, planning, and development
  • Knowledge of general Medical Assistant skills and infection control standards
  • Familiarity with medical diagnoses, procedures, and accepted medical treatment
  • Ability to lift at least 51 lbs regularly and assist patients as needed
  • Proficient in computer-related tasks and software applications
  • Current CPR certification
