About the position

The Operations Analyst at Borland Groover is a pivotal role responsible for providing analytical support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in various aspects of operational performance. This position is integral to the organization, focusing on reporting and metrics, resource modeling, and both strategic and tactical initiatives. The analyst will be tasked with building and maintaining operational reports and models, delivering insights into metrics, trends, and issues on a regular basis, and developing tools to monitor and track operational milestones and metrics effectively. In this role, the analyst will identify and optimize the true drivers of operational performance and productivity. They will produce analytically driven insights that aid in making strategic business decisions aimed at delivering operational results. A deep understanding of the critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the organization is essential, as the analyst will measure performance using these KPIs. The position also involves designing innovative reporting solutions and creating dashboards that provide visibility into KPIs and operational effectiveness. The Operations Analyst will implement forecasting models and methodologies to enhance business performance and will need to understand the underlying data architecture that supports various company systems. Collaboration with the operations leadership team is crucial to gain insights on all patient services, including clinic operations, patient support services, and human resources. The analyst will identify gaps in workflow and areas for operational improvement, working collaboratively to address requirements and inform efficiency and profitability efforts. Additionally, the analyst will analyze data related to operational procedures to support improved workflows, build and maintain rolling analysis files and dashboards for various strategic initiatives, and prepare presentations for operational meetings that highlight key outcomes and findings. The ability to work independently and conduct data mining to extract information from data sets is also a key component of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to the COO for reporting and metrics, resource modeling, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain operational reports and models; provide regular analysis and insights into metrics, trends, and issues.

  • Prepare presentations for operational meetings, highlighting key outcomes and findings.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and facilitate resolution of data-related issues.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in operational forecasting and planning.
  • Proficient in business and data analytics, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong ability to critically analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in data mining and identifying correlations and patterns in data sets.
  • Some healthcare experience preferred.
