The Clinical Operations Analyst plays a crucial role within GEHA, focusing on the analysis, development, and delivery of comprehensive clinical reports that provide actionable insights to senior leadership. This position requires a strong background in healthcare data analysis and a deep understanding of clinical operations, enabling the analyst to translate complex data into meaningful information that supports decision-making at the executive level. In this role, the Clinical Operations Analyst will be responsible for meeting the executive reporting and clinical-specific data reporting needs for clinical operations, particularly for the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and all clinical departments within GEHA. The analyst will work cross-functionally with various clinical departments, including Clinical Quality, Population Health, Dental, Pharmacy, Medical Management, and Health & Well-being. Close collaboration with the Director of Operations and Transformation is essential to ensure that the needs of the Clinical Operations Division are met effectively. The position involves gathering, organizing, and analyzing clinical data from various sources within GEHA, developing comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership that provide insights into clinical operations, outcomes, and performance metrics. The analyst will evaluate clinical performance indicators, identify trends and areas for improvement, and collaborate with clinical teams to address operational challenges. Additionally, the role includes reviewing dashboards and metrics that offer real-time insights into clinical performance, developing key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommending strategies for process improvement based on data-driven insights and industry best practices. Clear documentation and effective presentation of findings to senior leadership are also key responsibilities of this position.
