About the position

The Clinical Operations Coordinator at AdventHealth Tampa is responsible for managing the flow of operations within the organization, particularly focusing on staffing for nursing services. This role requires a professional who can multitask effectively, prioritize projects, and ensure patient-centered staffing adjustments. The coordinator acts as a liaison between various departments and external entities, ensuring efficient patient placement and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow within the organization and oversee staffing for nursing services.
• Evaluate staffing for the next shift and make patient-centered moves by floating team members to areas of greatest need.
• Make daily adjustments including floats, staff call-outs, and additions.
• Work closely with the administrative nursing supervisor to develop a safe staffing plan.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, direct, and control all admissions and transfers between nursing units and hospitals.
• Act as a liaison between referring hospitals, physician offices, and nursing departments regarding patient placement.
• Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of clinical experience.
• BLS/CPR certification.
