About the position

Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Clinical Operations Coordinator at Bennett Hall in Omaha, NE. This individual would be responsible for scheduling Anesthesiologists and CRNAs through QGenda. The Clinical Operations Coordinator in the department of anesthesiology partners with anesthesia leadership to ensure accurate and complete coverage of all clinical locations. This role involves performing scheduling in a complex environment of anesthesiology staffing, which is comprised of multiple roles, operating rooms, and procedural locations. The position will report directly to the Vice Chair of Administration and Finance and assists all clinician schedulers. The coordinator maintains a highly responsive working relationship with all anesthesia clinical staff to ensure the effective management of scheduling, which contributes to the successful and efficient clinical function of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Anesthesiologists and CRNAs through QGenda.
  • Partner with anesthesia leadership to ensure accurate coverage of clinical locations.
  • Perform scheduling in a complex anesthesiology staffing environment.
  • Report directly to the Vice Chair of Administration and Finance.
  • Assist all clinician schedulers in their duties.
  • Maintain a responsive working relationship with anesthesia clinical staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments competently, accurately, and efficiently required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team required.
  • Experience with generating and updating reports required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two years of relevant scheduling experience preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of QGenda scheduling system preferred.
