About the position

The Clinical Operations Readiness Project Manager at Divurgent is responsible for leading a new hospital integration program, ensuring that clinical operations are fully prepared for seamless integration. This role involves project management, collaboration with various departments, and conducting readiness assessments to align clinical workflows with operational standards. The position is crucial for maintaining operational readiness and supporting clinical staff during the transition.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Lead the CORe effort and manage personnel to conduct assessments and collaborate with clinical and operational leadership.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to ensure clinical operations are prepared for integration, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT, clinical, administrative, and external vendors to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure clinical workflows and policies align with the new hospital's operational protocols and standards.
  • Identify areas requiring staff training and additional support.
  • Support clinical workgroup meetings with SMEs and EHR vendor.
  • Identify potential risks to clinical operations readiness and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive readiness documentation, including checklists, status reports, and action plans.
  • Provide clear and regular updates on readiness status, progress, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Offer go-live support to clinicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a healthcare setting, focusing on clinical operations readiness and integration.
  • Proven experience with Epic systems, particularly in preparing clinical operations for its use; Epic certification preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving readiness issues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
