About the position

At Mia Aesthetics, we are not just leading the way in plastic surgery—we're redefining it. Our goal is simple: to ensure everyone has access to the highest quality plastic surgery without the premium price tag. With an elite team of plastic surgeons across the U.S. and a family of over 80,000 satisfied patients, we're on a mission to make beauty accessible to all. The Clinical Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in this mission by performing a variety of administrative and clinical pre-operative duties. This position requires a high sense of urgency and strong customer service skills, as the specialist will be the first point of contact for patients and will handle various tasks to ensure smooth operations within the clinic. The role involves performing clerical and administrative tasks to support the clinic's operations, including charging and collecting payments for surgeries and related merchandise, generating daily invoices, and processing collection transactions. The Clinical Operations Specialist will also confirm surgical patient appointments through phone calls and written communication, inform the clinical team of the daily surgery schedule, and take pre-operative photos. Additionally, the specialist will process electronic prescriptions for doctors and conduct preliminary physical tests, such as taking vitals, needed the day before surgeries. It is essential to verify that all necessary paperwork, including patient labs, intake information, and consents, is completed prior to the scheduled surgery date. The specialist will also track inventory for surgical and clinical accessories and supplies for the designated department, ensuring that the clinic is well-stocked and prepared for procedures. Mia Aesthetics provides on-the-job training and professional development opportunities, making this an excellent position for individuals looking to grow within the field of plastic surgery and clinical operations.
