About the position

Vatica Health is seeking highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable Medical Assistants/Clinical Support Coordinators for the Field Coordinator I opportunity in Detroit, MI. This role is crucial in working with our provider clients and clinical team to optimize practice workflows and ensure a high level of penetration in the office. The Field Coordinator I will collaborate closely with internal departments, including Clinical Consultants, Schedulers, and Operations, as well as our provider clients to effectively organize and coordinate patient and provider engagement. The ultimate goal of this position is to drive practice penetration rates by maintaining practice rosters and ensuring that every active patient has a Vatica visit. In this role, the Field Coordinator I will be responsible for visiting provider offices to assist with medical record transfers, working with Clinical Consultants to identify practice workflows and areas of opportunity, and coordinating with practices to run reports out of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Additionally, the coordinator will organize and reconcile patient lists, verify patient eligibility in collaboration with Operations and Payer, and maintain scheduling templates for all practices. Tracking and maintaining a list of patients who need to be rescheduled and coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure new appointments are scheduled will also be key responsibilities. The Field Coordinator I will create shells of visits in the application and maintain the rosters within each site, ensuring schedule reconciliation is performed accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Visit provider offices to assist with Medical Record transfers

Requirements

  • Experience with various EMR systems
  • Provider office administrative/Medical Assistant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with specific experience using MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be willing to travel to Provider offices up to 5 days per week
