The Clinical Operations Training and Optimization Specialist position is a vital role within Unified Women's Healthcare, focusing on providing both in-office and remote training and optimization for new and existing Care Centers. This position primarily serves the Florida and Georgia regions, and candidates must be local to these areas, ideally near a large airport. The company is dedicated to supporting Ob-Gyn providers and their support staff, ensuring they can focus on delivering excellent medical care while Unified Women's Healthcare manages the business aspects of their practices. In this role, the specialist will work directly with providers and clinical staff to enhance their use of the Practice Management System (PMIS), Electronic Health Record (EHR), and related workflows. A significant part of the job involves working with practices that utilize athenahealth, a cloud-based electronic medical record and practice management tool. Success in this position requires a strong customer service orientation, as the specialist will independently assess and deliver tailored training and optimization solutions to meet the specific needs of each client. The specialist will conduct site visits to provide outreach, education, training, and orientation sessions for both providers and ancillary staff. They will also deploy and manage strategies and initiatives within their assigned markets, identifying opportunities for improvement and solving problems in collaboration with the Unified and athena teams. Becoming a Superuser for athena is essential, requiring advanced knowledge of the tool and practice workflows to assist in the implementation of new divisions and the optimization of existing practices. Additionally, the specialist will develop subject matter expertise in athenahealth's core products and services, including practice management, patient engagement, and the EHR, and will work towards attaining the “Certified Unified EHR Trainer” certification. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial, as the specialist will create and distribute educational materials regarding athena, clinical updates, and common issues. They will also unify standards across multiple healthcare practices, train new care center employees, and assess opportunities and risks during and after the implementation of new practices, providing customized action plans as needed. The role requires generating reports, documenting encounters, and assisting with the maintenance of user and athena configurations. Participation in events outside of normal business hours, such as Committee Meetings and Networking Events, is also expected, along with adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
