About the position
The Clinical Partner (CNA) in the Emergency Department is a full-time position responsible for providing essential technical patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role emphasizes collaboration with the RN to ensure safe and quality patient care, making the Clinical Partner a vital member of the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical patient care skills under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Collaborate closely with an assigned RN to deliver safe and quality patient care.
- Assist in the daily care of patients in the Emergency Department.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the RN.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience required.
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant Certified, or Registered Medical Assistant certification required.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
