Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective drug therapy in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Serve as a drug information resource for pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff.
  • Educate patients on medication use and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Current pharmacist license from the state of practice.
  • Two or more years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Completion of a PGY-1 residency is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with advanced technology in pharmacy practice.
