About the position

The Clinical Program Director at Healogics is responsible for the management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program and other related programs. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Wound Care Center, managing staff, financial oversight, quality improvement, community education, and clinical functions. The director will also maintain collaborative relationships with hospital partners and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Center's operations, including day-to-day management of outpatient clinics and wound care programs.
  • Continuously assess clinic flows and implement best practices for improvement.
  • Ensure availability of resources, supplies, and services for the clinic.
  • Facilitate effective communication throughout the program.
  • Direct the work of clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Manage direct reports in conjunction with HR departments, including hiring and performance reviews.
  • Perform financial management, including revenue cycle coordination and financial reporting.
  • Manage community education and marketing functions to increase patient referrals.
  • Implement and manage a continuous performance improvement program for the Wound Care Center.
  • Coordinate clinical activities and direct the work of clinical staff, including patient care assessment and planning.
  • Maintain relationships with hospital clients and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience.
  • 1 year of marketing/community education experience in healthcare or clinical operations, or 4 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong customer service and follow-up skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
