The Clinical Program Director at Healogics is a pivotal role responsible for the management and strategic growth of the Wound Care Program and other related programs within the assigned area. This position entails complete oversight of the Wound Care Center (WCC)®, which includes managing day-to-day operations, staff management, financial oversight, quality and performance improvement, community education, and clinical functions. The Clinical Program Director is tasked with ensuring that the center operates efficiently and effectively, providing high-quality care to patients with chronic wounds. In this role, the Clinical Program Director will continuously assess clinic flows, processes, and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance patient outcomes. Collaboration with hospital personnel and other healthcare providers is essential to ensure the availability of necessary resources and to facilitate effective communication throughout the program. The director will also manage direct reports, including hiring, coaching, and conducting performance reviews, ensuring that the clinical staff is motivated and aligned with the center's goals. Financial management is another critical aspect of this role, where the Clinical Program Director will oversee the revenue cycle, stay updated on reimbursement changes, and manage costs effectively. The director will work closely with marketing departments to develop strategic marketing plans aimed at increasing patient referrals to the Wound Care Center. Additionally, the Clinical Program Director will implement a continuous Performance Improvement Program (PIP) to meet quality indicators and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. The position also involves maintaining strong relationships with hospital clients, understanding their needs, and aligning the program's goals with the hospital's strategic objectives. The Clinical Program Director will participate in hospital management meetings and foster effective working relationships with all stakeholders involved in the wound care continuum.
