About the position

The Clinical Program Manager Analyst at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is responsible for providing analytic and technical support to enhance the clinical quality and cost-effectiveness of drug and medical therapy for client plan sponsors and their members. This role focuses on managing drug utilization through analytical tools and evidence-based approaches to achieve lower costs, improved health outcomes, and higher satisfaction levels. The analyst collaborates with the Client Team to meet clinical account and financial goals, utilizing data and performance indicators to identify opportunities for performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist in current priority projects, programs, or initiatives as defined by the supervisor.
  • Provide clinical subject matter expertise combined with business operations knowledge to ensure clinical and business success.
  • Assist with analytic needs to support recommendations for clients that align with mutual goals of lower costs and high clinical quality.
  • Support clinical consultative services in accordance with contracted clinical services, focusing on strategic and financial goals.
  • Coordinate clinical utilization analyses and present findings to clients, ensuring timely and accurate review of plan data.
  • Support and maintain DUE, DUR, and QI programs to meet guidelines.
  • Coordinate clinical support of Drug Formulary and Preferred Drug Lists during implementation and maintenance of business.
  • Support clinically appropriate initiatives to optimize the value of MedImpact's rebate administration program for clients.
  • Support MedImpact P&T Committee meetings and drug updates.

Requirements

  • Pharm D and 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Access, Excel, and relational databases.
  • Valid Registered Pharmacist in any state; licensed in Puerto Rico is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Analytical skills with Health Informatics experience preferred.
  • Experience in promoting disease management and/or drug cost management programs preferred.
