About the position

The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for managing client-specific clinical programs and drug strategy recommendations for Prime Therapeutics in the Birmingham, AL area. This role involves coordinating formulary management, providing clinical guidance, and building strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders. The position requires effective consultative services to meet client requirements and promote Prime's standard offerings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate formulary management for the client, including decision making and implementation of Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committees.
• Provide consultation and recommendations regarding clinical program opportunities and formulary recommendations.
• Manage incoming requests for information related to drug therapy and clinical programs, partnering with analytics teams to present information to clients.
• Present Prime's products and services to stakeholders and coordinate custom clinical pharmacy programs.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy Degree.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in a retail, hospital, clinical, or managed care setting, including at least 2 years in a clinical or managed care setting.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
