About the position

The Clinical Program Manager at Prime Therapeutics is responsible for managing client-specific clinical programs and drug strategy recommendations. This role serves as the primary contact for designated BCBS clients, promoting Prime's offerings to meet client needs and fostering strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders through consultative services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate formulary management for the client, including decision making and implementation of Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committees.
• Provide consultation and recommendations regarding clinical program opportunities and formulary recommendations.
• Support the client's Health Insurance Marketplace business with clinical guidance.
• Manage incoming requests for information related to drug therapy and clinical programs, collaborating with the analytics team to present information to the client.
• Present Prime's products and services to stakeholders and coordinate custom clinical pharmacy programs.

Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in a retail, hospital, clinical, or managed care setting, including at least 2 years in a clinical or managed care setting.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
