About the position

The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for managing client-specific clinical programs and drug strategy recommendations, including formulary management and Utilization Management programs. This role serves as the primary contact for designated BCBS clients, promoting Prime's offerings to meet client needs and fostering strong relationships with clinical stakeholders through consultative services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate formulary management for the client, including decision-making and implementation of Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committees.
• Provide consultation and recommendations regarding clinical program opportunities and formulary recommendations.
• Provide clinical guidance and support for client's Health Insurance Marketplace business.
• Manage incoming requests for information related to drug therapy and clinical programs, collaborating with the analytics team to present meaningful data to clients.
• Present Prime's products and services to stakeholders and coordinate custom clinical pharmacy programs.

Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in a retail, hospital, clinical, or managed care setting, including at least 2 years in a clinical or managed care setting.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
