About the position

The Clinical Program Manager at Prime Therapeutics is responsible for managing client-specific clinical programs and drug strategy recommendations. This role serves as the primary contact for designated BCBS clients, promoting Prime's standard offerings and building strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders through effective consultative services. The position involves coordinating formulary management, providing clinical guidance, and managing requests related to drug therapy and clinical programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate formulary management for the client including decision making and implementation of Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committees.
• Provide consultation and recommendations regarding clinical program opportunities and formulary recommendations.
• Provide clinical guidance and support for client's Health Insurance Marketplace business.
• Manage incoming requests for information regarding drug therapy and clinical programs, partnering with analytics teams to present information to clients.
• Present Prime's products and services to stakeholders and coordinate custom clinical pharmacy programs.

Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the position is located.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in a retail, hospital, clinical and/or managed care setting, including at least 2 years in a clinical and/or managed care setting.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
