About the position

The Clinical Program Manager oversees Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Services, ensuring high-quality advocacy, service coordination, counseling, and support for clients. This role involves managing personnel, evaluating program effectiveness, and maintaining budgetary oversight while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Assertive Community Treatment Team Services.
  • Hire, supervise, and train ACT personnel.
  • Direct day-to-day clinical operations of the team.
  • Lead morning meetings and weekly clinical review meetings.
  • Evaluate client status and ensure contact intensity matches client needs.
  • Coordinate admission and discharge processes for clients.
  • Assign clients to individual team members for primary responsibility.
  • Monitor referral, intake, and orientation processes for new clients.
  • Provide clinical supervision and weekly individual supervision of staff.
  • Review quantity and quality of services and documentation provided by staff.
  • Perform crisis intervention and assistance as necessary.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings to address concerns.
  • Ensure client documentation meets accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with community service organizations to promote the Agency's mission.
  • Communicate with community agencies regarding client concerns or needs.
  • Monitor medication and health concerns for all clients in the ACT program.
  • Manage the budget, billing, and grant expenditures for the program.
  • Maintain high fidelity to the ACT Model of Care.
  • Ensure the ACT Office operates efficiently and is well-maintained.
  • Develop departmental policies as required.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or related field.
  • At least three years of experience working with adults with chronic mental illness.
  • License in a Mental Health Profession in the State of Maryland required.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
