About the position
The Clinical Psychologist (Neuropsychology) position involves conducting comprehensive psycho-diagnostic assessments and evaluations to understand the psychological and behavioral effects of Central Nervous System (CNS) dysfunction. The role includes developing and managing neuropsychological services, providing consultation and training to mental health professionals, and administering psychological tests. This position is critical in delivering high-quality psychological care within US Military Treatment Facilities under the Defense Health Agency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake evaluations and psycho-diagnostic assessments.
- Disseminate clinical conclusions regarding the psychological and behavioral effects of CNS dysfunction.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and managing the Neuropsychological Service for assessment of behavioral effects of CNS dysfunction.
- Provide psychological consultation, education, and training to other mental health professionals.
- Administer and score psychological tests.
Requirements
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in clinical psychology.
- Current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently in a U.S. jurisdiction.
- One year of specialized experience in conducting psycho-diagnostic assessments and formulating treatment plans.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in neuropsychology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
