Career Central is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for a part-time position in Orlando, FL. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to a diverse clientele, including high school students and adults. The position is structured as a 1099 contractor role with a competitive payout of 60%, with potential for higher earnings. Responsibilities

  • Performs psychological evaluations for a wide range of individuals, including high school students and adults.
  • Analyzes findings and writes comprehensive psychological evaluation reports detailing results and recommendations, including treatment options and plans.
  • Administers instruments such as IQ assessments, achievement tests, and various tests to evaluate specific psychological conditions (WAIS, WJ-IV, MMPI, etc.).
  • Diagnoses conditions based on evaluation results.
  • Works with individuals to determine recommendations based on evaluations.
  • Provides counseling and interpretation of evaluations, if needed.
  • Ensures reports and notes are completed within three days of service.
  • Uses a database to enter intake notes, progress notes, evaluations, and client updates.
  • Reviews client records for psychological evaluation clients.
  • Participates in team meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Holds a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in clinical psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Florida license - psychologist.
  • Experience with diagnosing using the DSM-5.
  • Experience administering intellectual, academic, autism screening, and other instruments is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with adolescents and adults is a plus.
  • Experience in vocational rehabilitation is a plus.
  • Proficient computer competencies.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports and recommendations.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
