About the position

This position is located at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Center in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy for children, adolescents, and family members.
  • Screen and interview children, adolescents, and family members, and utilize psychometric instruments in the assessment of psychological disorders typically affecting children and adolescents.
  • Develop, document, and evaluate appropriateness of treatment plans and goals.
  • Provide consultation to professional staff regarding testing and interpreting issues.
  • Evaluate professional development activities relating to clinical child and adolescent psychology.

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
  • One year of specialized experience which includes conducting biopsychosocial evaluations for children, adolescents or adults; providing individual and/or group psychological counseling; and developing behavioral health treatment plans.
  • A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
