About the position
As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. This role involves collaborating with specialty clinicians to ensure holistic and continuous care for elderly individuals suffering from neurocognitive disorders and other psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities.
- Collaborate with specialty clinicians to ensure holistic care for elderly individuals.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with neurocognitive disorders.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment progress.
- Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinical protocols.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Psychology.
- Current license (or eligible to be licensed) as a Psychologist in the state of practice.
- Preferred: HSPP (Health Service Provider in Psychology) in applicable states.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in geriatric psychology or neurobehavioral science.
- Familiarity with long-term care settings and dementia care.
