About the position
As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. This role involves collaborating with specialty clinicians to ensure holistic and continuous care for elderly individuals suffering from neurocognitive disorders and other psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities.
- Collaborate with specialty clinicians to ensure holistic care for elderly individuals.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with neurocognitive disorders.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment progress.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinical protocols.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree (PsyD or PhD) in Psychology.
- Current license (or eligible to be licensed) as a Psychologist in the state of practice.
- HSPP preferred in applicable states.
- Experience in neurobehavioral health or geriatric psychology.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with elderly populations.
- Familiarity with neurocognitive disorders and psychiatric conditions.
