About the position

The Clinical Quality Trainer will develop and deliver training programs focused on quality management principles and clinical applications to internal team members. This role requires collaboration and independent work to create engaging content for diverse audiences, utilizing both virtual and in-person formats. The position is part-time, budgeted for 30 hours per week, and operates in a hybrid work environment under the supervision of the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy training programs on quality management principles and clinical applications.
  • Educate staff on quality management principles interlaced with clinical application.
  • Deliver training content virtually through a learning management system and in-person.
  • Adapt learning opportunities for a diverse audience based on clinical expertise.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions for staff, both in-person and virtually.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in direct behavioral health client care.
  • At least one year of experience in developing and delivering professional presentations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience in inquiry and observation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Visio) and experience with virtual learning software (e.g., Storyline, Articulate) is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expertise in evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, ACT, DBT, or CBT.
  • Experience as a public speaker conducting sessions to a broad audience.
  • Interest in learning about quality assurance and improvement principles.
