About the position

The Clinical Regional Sales Associate at Stryker is responsible for supporting the sales team in marketing, promoting, and selling Stryker products to healthcare professionals. This role involves frequent travel to cover for employees on leave and to maintain strong customer relationships across multiple territories. The associate will educate medical staff on product usage and functionality, ensuring adherence to industry guidelines while achieving sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Representatives in marketing, promoting, and selling Stryker products when not covering for leaves of absence.
  • Maintain strong, positive customer relationships while covering for employees on leaves of absence.
  • Travel frequently to perform sales tasks and provide coverage in multiple territories.
  • Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and staff on the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
  • Tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge and advise on product selection.
  • Direct product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings.
  • Assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and clinical meetings.
  • Keep the regional manager informed of territory progress regularly.
  • Solve product problems for customers efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain a sample inventory of products.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in an outside sales position, preferably in medical-related fields.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree required.
  • Field sales training and successful completion of in-house product training program.
  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with large groups and telephonically.
  • Proficient in using common office equipment and driving an automobile.
