About the position

The Clinical Rehabilitation Liaison at CPS Solutions, LLC is a full-time role focused on fostering relationships with referral sources to promote Rivers Health's Swing Bed and Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs. This position combines clinical expertise with sales skills to assess potential patients for admission, ensuring alignment with expected outcomes from partner hospitals. The role requires collaboration with marketing and involves working primarily during the day shift, with some evening and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with current referral sources.
• Identify and develop new relationships with potential referral sources.
• Promote Rivers Health Swing Bed and Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs in collaboration with marketing.
• Identify and assess future patients/residents for admission to the Swing Bed and IRP programs.
• Ensure alignment with Regional/National CMS outcomes expected from partner hospitals' clinical experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related Healthcare field, or an Associate's degree with 3+ years related experience.
• Licensed as a Physical, Occupational, or Respiratory Therapist; Speech Language Pathologist; Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistant; or Registered Nurse.
• 2 years of experience as a Clinician in a healthcare environment.
• 1 year of experience as a Clinical Liaison or sales position within a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
• Ability to work in high-volume environments while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to respond positively to the needs of patients and families.
• Ability to address customer concerns in a private, respectful and calm manner.
• Ability to perform authorizations as indicated.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Proficiency with computer applications and office equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a healthcare sales position.
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse and ReDoc.
