About the position

The Clinical Research Assistant I position at HJF involves supporting research initiatives related to the National Guard Programs, particularly in Integrated Primary Prevention and Behavioral Health Programs. The role focuses on data collection through research interviews, recruiting and screening subjects, and assisting in program development and evaluation. This entry-level position operates under the guidance of senior staff and contributes to the Department of Psychiatry's mission to advance trauma-informed care and research.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains database files and progress reports for studies, projects, and programs.
• Performs administrative duties such as maintaining study database and files, scheduling study appointments, and assisting in developing and submitting grants, papers, and abstracts.
• Assists with the preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations, including editing and formatting documents.
• Screens and assists with consenting study subjects.
• Supports program evaluation efforts for the National Guard programs.
• Interacts with study subjects, including screening, recruitment, and data collection.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in social sciences or related fields.
• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to understand and utilize scientific/medical terminology and research theory in both oral and written communications.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a T1 Public Trust.
