Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process administrative and regulatory paperwork for clinical research trials.
• Recruit and consent patients for studies.
• Attend off-site study meetings as required.
• Schedule and complete subject follow-up visits.
• Process samples and maintain subject research charts.
• Attend study teleconferences and training sessions.
• Facilitate investigator and trial personnel training.
• Perform data abstraction and complete case report forms (CRFs).
• Monitor and report adverse events and outcomes.
• Track subject visits and site payments, preparing and submitting site invoices.
• Utilize tracking and budgeting tools for accurate forecasting and reconciliation of payments.
• Prepare documents for IRB initial and continuing review, including consent and HIPAA forms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Basic knowledge of social/clinical research principles and methods of data collection and analysis.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in clinical research, particularly with IRB/regulatory agencies.
• Familiarity with ICH/GCP guidelines and experience in cardiology.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills with electronic and paper files.
• Prior exposure to cardiovascular health.
