About the position

The Clinical Research Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology supports ongoing projects at The Center for Health Equity, Education, and Research (CHEER). This role involves assisting with data collection, data entry, analysis, and general office tasks, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from research participants through online surveys, in-person surveys, and focus group interviews.
• Enter data into SPSS or other software packages.
• Maintain security of confidential data.
• Supervise other research assistants in the lab as needed.
• Complete administrative/Ad-Hoc tasks related to the research project as needed.
• Organize meetings and communicate with other offices across campus.
• Assist with data analysis and write-up of results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Experience conducting empirical research in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SPSS software for data entry and analysis.
• Strong organizational skills to manage projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
