About the position

The Clinical Research Assistant position at Sqrl involves coordinating various complex activities related to the start-up, conduct, and close-out phases of clinical pharmaceutical and device research protocols. This role is crucial in obtaining clean, objective, and accurate data while adhering to federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCPs). The position offers an opportunity to work in a meaningful healthcare role within a growing Clinical Research Site Network in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities related to the start-up, conduct, and close-out phases of clinical research protocols.
• Obtain clean, objective, and accurate data within sponsor timelines.
• Follow applicable SOPs, policies, and procedures, as well as federal regulations and medical ethics.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and specific sponsor protocol requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and align with company values and mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of 2 years' experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) or 1-3+ years' experience in clinical research or biological research.
• Experience in phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs is highly preferred.
• Exceptional knowledge of clinical research methods and strong management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products.
• Demonstrated experience in writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and impact analysis abilities.
